What to Check Before Changing Partner
Start with your current support agreement. Note the renewal date and notice period; if you are partway through a long-term contract, you may need to agree an early release.
Then gather what your new partner will need:
Admin access to Sage Intacct
Details of your modules and configuration
Your reporting and dashboard setup
User roles and permissions
Integration details
- Your support history and any open tickets

Switching Sage INTACCT Partner FAQs
Can I change my Sage Intacct partner?
Yes. You can change your Sage Intacct partner without replacing Intacct. A proper handover ensures support, access, and configuration knowledge transfers cleanly so your finance team stays operational.
Do we need to reimplement Sage Intacct to change partner?
Usually not. Changing partner transfers your support, not your system. Reimplementation only makes sense if the original setup is fundamentally misconfigured, and even then we audit first and fix what we can in place.
Does our support change if we switch partner?
If you bought Sage Intacct through a partner, that partner is usually your first line of support. Switching changes who you call, not the system you use. With Acuity24, that means fixed-price unlimited support.
Do we need to tell Sage?
No. Once you sign with Acuity24, we tell Sage about the change. You only need to email your current partner to authorise access to your information.
Will switching disrupt our finance team?
It should not. The handover is planned around your month-end, and your permissions and reporting are protected throughout.
What is the difference between changing partner and migrating systems?
Changing partner moves your support and services to a new partner. Migrating moves your data to a new system. Switching partner involves no data migration.
How do we get started?
Book a short call, share your current setup and priorities, and we will set out the next steps.
What is Sage Intacct implementation rescue?
Implementation rescue is when a new partner steps in to stabilise a struggling Intacct rollout, fix configuration issues, address reporting gaps, and create a clear plan to achieve the outcomes originally expected.
Can a new partner fix a poorly configured Sage Intacct environment?
Yes. A good partner will audit the setup, identify root causes, correct configuration, and reduce workarounds, then build a roadmap for improvements without disrupting day-to-day finance operations.
