Framework Upgrade
This refers to upgrading the underlying framework or technology that the application is built on. This includes security and layout updates to programming languages, libraries, or tools.
Single Sign-On (SSO)
A feature that allows users to log in to multiple applications with a single set of credentials. This is to improve the user experience and increase security.
The Acuity Portal supports Microsoft and Google SSO.
Master Data Approval
This feature allows users to submit and approve changes to master data (such as product information, customer data, etc…). Similar to the existent functionality regarding transaction approval.
This new module is available for Sage X3 instances, and it uses the standard workflow engine.
Customer Portal
A customer portal is a web-based interface that allows customers to access and manage their account information, check stock and pricing, view their order history, view open items and pay.
This new module is available for Sage X3 instances.
Email Notifications
This feature allows the system to send email notifications by API using the same functionality inbuilt into the framework.
This new module is available for Sage X3, Sage Intacct and Acuity Integrator instances.
Inbuilt Notifications
This feature allows the system to display notifications to users within the application, such as pop-up messages or banner notifications.
This new module is available for Sage X3, Sage Intacct and Acuity Integrator instances.
Advanced Licensing
This feature allows Acuity Portal to support more advanced licensing models, such as per-user or per-feature licensing.
This licensing module is also available by API and available for Sage X3, Sage Intacct and Acuity Integrator instances.
